Samuel Tomlinson The only indictment I have seen is for theft of 12 ounces of gold fringe (valued at 50/-) and 7 gold tassels (valued at 20/-), the property of the parish of St Anne, Manchester on 14 June 1739.  It is marked “nothing done on this.”  BUT there is a note elsewhere that he was executed September 1739.
